About A Grade Automotive

At A Grade Automotive we are dedicated to providing peerless automotive repairs to all our valued customers in Christchurch.

We offer a fully comprehensive automotive repair service, including but not limited to general servicing and maintaining and stamping service schedules, auto electrical services and diagnostics scans, with scan tools for all makes and models but specialising in European vehicles, wheel alignments and tyres, steering and suspension services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections including WoF, engine reconditioning and radiator services.

We are focused on building on our technical capabilities in all automotive repairs, keeping up-to-date with the latest training courses and diagnostic equipment, and that we provide exceptional customer service. We have a workshop fully equipped with the latest in specialised tools and equipment, ensuring we can cater for every make and model.

Our History

Originally established in 1992 by Paul McGrath, A Grade Automotive has been providing automotive repair services to our valued customers locally for the last 15 years.

Paul started in the automotive repair business in 1972, accruing experience in various workshops until 20 years later, he felt that he had finally gathered enough skills and knowledge to run an automotive repair workshop to the high standard of workmanship.
